Officer in Southern District accesses database in breach of policy

22 October 2019

The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an allegation that an officer in Southern District inappropriately accessed the confidential Police national database to obtain information about himself, his vehicles, and people connected to his partner.

The officer's conduct was addressed through an employment process which applied an appropriate outcome. The Authority agreed with both the Police finding and the outcome.
