9 December 2019

In April 2019, Police notified the Authority of an incident where it was alleged an officer caused a vehicle collision resulting in the victim receiving minor injuries. Police commenced criminal and employment proceedings against the employee.

Police charged the officer with Careless Driving Causing Injury. Following his guilty plea, the Court convicted and discharged him.

The officer's conduct was then addressed through an employment process and the Authority agreed with the outcome.
