The Authority oversaw a Police investigation where it was alleged by a third party that, in 2003, a Police Officer committed a sexual offence with an underage girl he met at a party and with whom he subsequently entered into a relationship. It was also alleged Police failed to adequately investigate the matter at the time after it was reported to them by the girl's mother.
Police spoke with the alleged victim and her mother during the investigation and determined that it was not appropriate to take further action. The Authority agreed with the Police outcome.
