The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into a complaint that a Police officer slapped a 15 year old in his capacity as a leader of a youth programme. Police upheld the complaint. Due to the minimal level of force and lack of injury, Police decided not to prosecute the officer. He was issued with a formal written warning for common assault. The Authority agrees with the findings of that investigation and the findings and outcome of a subsequent employment investigation.
