Officer behaved inappropriately during dealings with a family harm victim

On 21st March 2019 a complaint was received from a family harm victim concerning her interactions with a police officer in Southern District. The allegations against the officer included inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour while dealing with the victim and having a telephone conversation about Police business in the presence of the victim.

The police investigation upheld the allegations. The Authority agrees with the findings of the police Investigation.
