The Authority oversaw a Police review after a lawyer alleged senior staff concealed information he had requested under the Official Information Act. The complainant requested information about Police’s decision to change the warning they gave to motorists who elect to undergo an evidential blood test.
The Police review found staff managed and responded to the lawyer’s requests for information in accordance with policy, practice, and procedure, and reasonably complied with the Official Information Act.
The Authority is satisfied with the Police review and the outcome reached.
